Eat More, Spend Less in NYC

Post saved!

There’s no better way to start off your week than with some great deals on amazing food! New York gives you plenty of mouth-watering and affordable options. All of these deals are right at your fingertips, thanks to apps like Groupon. Get ready, because we have some delicious deals coming at you.

The Skinny Bar and Loungea
Start your day right with some brunch at The Skinny Bar and Lounge, located in the Lower East Side at 174 Orchard Street. Groupon will provide you with 40% off the original price of a $29.90 brunch for two! This also includes a drink for each person. You can also choose 40% off brunch for 4 people, for just $36.00.

If you are in the mood for some Japanese cuisine and sushi, Neta is the place for you. Located at 61 W. 8th St. and open everyday from noon to 2 p.m., the restaurant offers a three-course prix fixe meal for $35.00. You can choose between 1one of 3 starters, and then get 5 pieces of sushi and 1 roll. This also includes dessert, so make sure to save room for the sweets.

Tapas Italiano
Craft beer tasting and tapas can be pricey. Thanks to Groupon, you can strike a great deal at Tapas Italiano for 2 people with 41% off the original price! This deal includes 2 craft beer tasting flights and 2 tapas of up to a $12.00 value each. Find this restaurant at 2363 Arthur Ave. in the Bronx.

Have a sweet tooth? That’s no problem, because Mille-Feuille has a great deal going on with Groupon. For $19.90, 40% off the going rate, you can get a box of one dozen gourmet macarons. You can also purchase 40 macarons for $59. The box of one dozen macarons includes 6 different flavors, such as salted caramel, vanilla bean, and lemon, while the 40-count box includes 8 different flavors.

In order to get these deals, you must order by email at least 24 hours in advance and prior to 5 p.m. The store has several different locations, including 552 LaGuardia Pl., 2175 Broadway, and Hotel Belleclaire 250 W. 77th St.

If none of these options satisfy your cravings, have no fear! There is another app, TangoTab, which directs you to nearby restaurants and helps you save money with exclusive deals. That’s not all: using this app allows you to help those in need as well.

Once you arrive at your restaurant of choice, simply check in through the app. The restaurant pays a small fee to TangoTab, and in return donates some of the revenue to a local food charity to help people in the community who are in need. A win-win for everyone!
