Heads Up!

Post saved!

Here’s a game to play if you and your friends find yourself with nothing to do, or if you find yourself without any alcohol since you drank it all in order to feel okay playing a game that requires you to raise your phone up to your forehead: Heads Up!

Heads Up! is an iOS app that is getting very good word of mouth. Cosmopolitan says it “will be the best dollar you’ve spent,” but I don’t think Cosmopolitan has visited a pizzeria near where I live that sells pizza for a dollar a slice and is made by a guy who just grunts and mumbles things under his breath. I always try to figure out what he is saying. So, in a way, it is like dinner and entertainment.15117471010_df8cbd3d84_z

Heads Up! is a game that Ellen DeGeneres plays on her own talk show when she isn’t dancing, scaring people, or promoting dress vests. The game is simple: guess the word that appears on the card that is on your head before the time runs out. Use the clues that you receive from your friends to help you guess it. Make sure to guess correctly right away or risk having your friend get furious and end your friendship because that is what happens when people get together to play harmless games.

Some of the categories that you can guess from include movies, celebrities, animals, characters, or you can create your very own category. Heads Up! allows you to play with one friend, or one hundred at a time.

In case you were wondering how you look playing this game, you can also keep videos of all your gameplay and share it on Facebook so everyone can see what you do with your spare time.

40-281x300We rate this app 40 out of 45 seconds because it is a fun game to play and it will help you pass the time or distract you from your crumbling life.
