Sometimes it can be tough to be organized and look cute all while staying on budget. Buying organizers can cost much more than what they are worth when you can just make your own at home! Whether it’s your cluttered desk space, closet space, or drawer place, there are so many ways to get organized.
To help alleviate some of the clutter you may have in any of these spaces, NYMM has found some DIY accessory organizers that will de-clutter your room and look great!
The first organizer we found is actually a dream catcher perfect for earring storage! If you already have any dream catchers that you could use for the project, that’s great! If not, there is a quick and easy way to make your own. You’ll need an embroidery hoop, or anything that will form a circle large enough for your dream catcher. Use spray paint to make the hoop any color you’d like. You can then use different colors of thread to create the design on the inside of the hoop. You can make this as simple or complicated as you’d like, but if you want a step-by-step process, you can follow along here.
The next organizer you could try uses a cutlery tray. You can buy as many or as few as you’d like, depending on how much jewelry you have to organize. You can either use these as trays or hang them on your wall. If you choose to hang the trays, you will need to attach hooks for your jewelry to hang from. Either way, this project is cute and easy. Feel free to paint or decorate the tray however you’d like!
Finally, if you want to get really crafty, you can make a jewelry stand out of Mountain Dew bottles (or whichever soda bottle you’d prefer based on the color of the plastic). When you collect your bottles, you will need a two liter bottle, a one liter bottle, and a 20 oz bottle. You will need to cut the bottoms off each. The tricky part of this project is drilling a hole into the center of each bottle. You will then be able to put a rod through these holes, which will connect your completed stands. For more details on how to do this final step, you can follow along here.
NYMM hopes that one of these projects will interest you, depending on your level of creativity and craftiness.
