Magisto Edits Your Videos For You

Editing videos can be a rather tedious process, especially when you only want to make a short video that captures a single moment in time. Magisto is an app that will cut out the middleman by editing and putting your videos together for you.

  1. How to Start

To get started with the app, simply select the photos or videos you want to use, pick an editing style, and choose some music. With the free version of the app, you can select up to 10 photos and videos, but if you upgrade, you can select 30 or more photos and videos. The editing styles include themes like winter, love, storyteller, dance, memories, travel, food, caring moments, throwbacks, and more. Choose the style that best fits the theme for your movie. When you go to choose the music for your video, you can use music from your own playlist, or you can use the music that the app provides.

  1. Up Next

Next, the app analyzes the videos and pictures you chose. Magisto analyzes everything from in-frame action to camera motion, face detection and indexing, object detection and tracking, facial recognition, and more. This helps us understand which parts of the uploaded footage are the most interesting, and also helps us determine whether the video footage needs to be stabilized, color corrected or maximized in some other way.” The app will also analyze your footage for any audio elements.

  1. Final Touches

After analyzing the audio and visual elements in the videos and photos you provide, the app will create your story. According to the website, the apps “artificial intelligence begins to construct a script for the final cut of your movie – we understand who your main characters are, what the topic of your movie is and more.” The app then combines this information and pairs it with your selected video style to create a story you will want to watch over and over again.

You can create stories about your trip abroad, your honeymoon, or your trip to the beach and share them with your friends, allowing them to get a sense of what it was like to be there. According to the website, “Magisto selects the best parts of your videos and photos, adds your chosen music, themes, and effects, and splices them into beautiful little movies.”

Magisto uses what they call emotion sense technology to create movies that will tell a story. Using artificial intelligence, the app chooses the best moments in the selected pictures and videos based on the themes and music you chose. “Our mission is to make it as easy as possible for users to create personal movies that not only tell stories, but elicit an emotional response as well.”

This app is free and available on both iOS and Android devices. For more features and longer videos, you will need to upgrade to premium.
