During this time of year, you may notice your skin and lips feeling extra dry, flaky or irritated. Especially if you’re spending a lot of time outside whether you’re commuting or shoveling snow, it’s extremely important to make sure your skin stays hydrated and healthy. During the wintertime when the air is cold and dry, your skin might need some extra help locking in moisture. Here are some of our favorite products for all-over hydration!
Lips
For a nourishing and hydrating lip mask to prevent your lips from being dry and flaky all day, opt for Laneige’s Lip Sleeping Mask. This product even made it on Allure’s Best of Beauty List in 2019. We will NOT be settling for crusty lips in 2021!
If you’re looking for a reliable treatment for chapped lips, Aquaphor is never a miss. While this is a great lip product, it’s also great for your cuticles and heels.
Moisturizers
If you’re looking for overnight hydration suitable for all skin types, the CeraVe Skin Renewing Night Cream will be your best friend.
Dr. Jart+ Cicapair Tiger Grass Color Correcting Treatment is perfect for darker skin tones who have lost that healthy summer glow. This product will even out your skin tone by neutralizing redness and you can even use it as a primer! You can also wear it on its own for a healthy and natural glow.
Neutrogena Hydro Boost Water Gel is great for locking in hydration all day. This long-lasting product will melt into your skin and the Hyaluronic Acid will keep your skin smooth and supple.
First Aid Beauty’s Ultra Repair Cream Intense Hydration is an awesome head-to-toe product suitable for all skin types. This product is especially necessary for the winter and doesn’t leave a greasy residue on your skin.
Cocokind’s Mymatcha All-Over Moisture Stick is a must for on-the-go hydration and is portable enough to throw into your purse before traveling. The product uses matcha powder to treat puffiness and under-eye circles but can also be used all over the face, including your lips.
The Everyone 3-in-1 Nourishing Lotion is made with plant extracts and pure essential oils for long-lasting hydration all over your body. They offer a number of different natural fragrances, but the vanilla and lavender scent is very comforting during the wintertime.
Masks
If your skin is feeling dull and uneven this time of year, opt for the Superberry Hydrate + Glow Dream Mask by Youth to the People. This product will make your skin look more radiant and bright and is intended to be applied on a fresh face before bed.
