You Know You’re a New Yorker When…

You have a moment once a month where you calculate what size house and type of fancy car you can own “back home” with the rent you’re paying in New York City.
Owning a TV is optional since you mostly watch your shows with earbuds on your iPad at your favorite Starbucks.
Friends from college are enamored with your life as a fancy New Yorker (they just don’t know you still eat ramen because you spent all your money on rent with the sublet you share with three other people.)
You use your sick days to stay at home so you can sign for your deliveries.
You medicate yourself before you take your out of town guests through Times Square.
